ColorBright™ Single Color LED Solderless Connector - (8mm) Strip to Strip
ColorBright™ Series LED Solderless Connector - Strip to Strip with Wire - 8mm
These solderless connectors were created to allow you to easily connect your LED strips together in seconds without soldering. Our Flexfire LEDs Solderless Connectors have been designed to fit securely to the strip and can be used on strips with a high LED count. Though soldering is always the best option for a long lasting connection, our connectors will create a secure connection in a few simple steps.
We recommend to solder your LED strip lights for a stronger connection.
Please follow the instructions while installing.
- The wire length is 6''
- Wire Gauge: 22AWG
- Amperage maximum: 5 amps
- Connector is 1/2'' (13mm) wide in total
What are the advantages of solderless connectors?
- No soldering required
- Install LED strip lights in seconds
- Easily attach an additional strip to the run of lights
- Easy to connect and disconnect
What do I do If my lights aren't lighting up?
- Re-open the connector and gently push the LED strip in all the way.
- The red wire is not always positive! Depending on the side of the LED strip you hook the connector up to, red and black can be - or + because the wire is red. Make sure you follow the positive (+) and negative (-) markings on the strip to indicate which colored wire will be positive and which will be assigned negative.
- Also, make sure the tray is closed all the way. If the lights slip out of the connector it is not closed all the way. Be gentle!
- Check your power supply and make sure it is hooked up correctly and correct + and - also.

Are these connectors a better option than soldering directly to the LED strip?
We always suggest soldering as the best option for a long term solution. Sometimes the connectors can be bumped or knocked off. In high vibration areas, it may cause the strip to come loose from the connector. Soldering is better.
Quick Installation Guide (please read)
Although soldering is the best way to maintain a long lasting connection, the solderless connectors are a great way to get your project going quickly. When installed correctly, the connectors should not be loose and should provide a secure connection.

I am tired of getting call backs because of these connectors. Flexfire knows they are junk. When I called to ask them about them they asked said they have had a bunch of problems with theses. Wires break at solder connections, wont grab the strip and black tab breaks off a lot. Junk
Worked OK for me

After reading some reviews I was hesitant in using these connectors so I ordered 2x what I needed. They all worked first time. I was concerned that I would have to remove the sticky back on the light strip but, no need - these connectors slip on over the sticky back and hold well.

They work great, as advertised. Ruy in customer care did a wonderful job of taking care of me. Thank you very much.

I was going to solder the wires but after trying the connectors found they were easy to use and worked well.
strip to strip connectors are finicky

I've found that about 20% of the strip to strip connectors don't work very easily and I just use a different one because it takes too long to make it work. A snap style fitting may be preferable, something that holds more solidly.

I installed my lights under 3 sets of cabinets and I had to connect them together. It works, cut it is the cheesiest part of the system. I had to reconnect one of the connectors three times before it final stayed attached.
Pretty Good but....

Purchased and installed under counter lighting on a kitchen remodel. I picked this combination of products [quick connectors, 5 meter LED strip, and 60W Magnitude power supply] primarily for guaranteed compatibility and the wonderfully thin LEDs. They are not seen unless you purposefully look under the cabinets and that was extremely important to us. Another plus over other ‘kits’ is the ability to determine the length of the strip you want – not forced to use predetermined lengths. I would like to thank the Flexfire team for being so accessible and accommodating in my quest for the perfect system for our remodel. They answered many questions and solved a couple of problems for me!!
Here are a couple items I would like to pass along: 1] I have one transformer to run three separate kitchen zones so I had to run extensions through the attic to two zones. Thermostat wire [16 gauge?] works perfect for the task and is unobtrusive in the cabinet interiors to get to the point where you want to splice into the connectors. 2] Test your connections as you go – it will aid trouble shooting and assist the attachment of the led strip to the cabinet underside. I found that turning the LEDs on full bright helps soften the LED adhesive hence getting a better bonding or at least getting it much sooner. 3] The weak link in the system is the LED quick connector!! They are delicate and the gripping power to the LED strip is less than desired. They are cheap so order a few extra until that day improved connectors are offered.
Overall a great combination of products. I have proudly shown to others and recommend to all.

Nice quick connectors

Simple to use. They're about 8 inches long. I cut them in the middle and spliced in some additional wire in order to bridge the gap between kitchen cabinets above my stove. (I used them for under-cabinet lighting).
Very Happy with Flexfire LED's

This review is not so much about the connectors I just bought, which were additional ones I need to complete installing my LED's, as it is for the overall LED's. I am thrilled with the whole concept of the strip LED's, and love the way my kitchen lighting turned out! With 14 ft. of LED's I was able to do undercounter lighting, the inside of a cabinet and some accent lights above the cabinets.
When I ordered the a additional LED's I mistakenly ordered the "color bright" instead of the "ultra bright", and found that there are not interchangeable. I called Flexfire and they immediately sent out the proper connectors with an envelope to return the incorrect ones. I was very pleased with the transaction.
I would highly recommend Flexfire.

This is the easiest way to connect LED on the market!

I loved these lights, I used them on my boat and they were perfect to use with a 12v system. I did not trust the quick connectors with all the vibration so I soldered on 20 gauge leads instead.
