Q: What app do I need to download on my phone to control this plug?
You need to download the Leona® Smart app and connect your Leona® Smart Home Plug to your Wi-Fi network so you can control it from your phone. The app is available for both Android and iOS operating systems, and you can also use it to control other Tuya-compatible products, such as our Leona® Smart Home Outlet, and our Leona® Smart Home Controller.
Q: What’s the difference between the Leona® Smart Home Plug and the Leona® Smart Home Outlet?
The Leona® Smart Home Plug goes directly into the socket in an outlet and lets you operate any device plugged into it with the Leona® Smart app. The Leona® Smart Home Outlet is similar, but it’s designed to be hardwired into the wall instead of a traditional outlet.
Q: Which smart home systems is the Leona® Smart Home Plug compatible with?
The Leona® Smart Home Plug is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home smart home systems. You can refer to the User Guide for more information on how to pair both systems together.
Q: Can each outlet on this plug be controlled separately, so one stays on while the other is off?
Yes, the two outlets can be controlled independently, and one can be on while the other is off. The unit can also be controlled with all outlets together as well.
