Victory™ Puck Lights: No Guesswork with CCT Selectable Tech>
When it comes to small LED lights, Victory™ Select Puck Lights pack big perks! Test your lighting CCT and get inspired for great puck light projects.
When we think about adding LED lights to our home or business, the first question is always the same: How will it actually look in my space?
The answer depends on many factors, such as their color (white, single colors, or multicolor), shape (spread out in a line or square), or placement (direct or indirect). And that's when we realize: it's not just what we imagine or want our lights to be, it's the space itself that decides what kind of light we really need.
This is especially true for LEDs made to shine directly on the things you love—or the products you sell—on shelves, in cabinets, or on displays. Will warm light make your shoe collection look better in the closet? Or will cool white bring out the fine details of the vases in your shop?
Before, these choices meant a lot of mistakes and taking a shot in the dark: picking the wrong light, reinstalling, and returning products. But now, thanks to Flexfire's newest innovation, this blind estimation game is over.

Introducing the Victory™ Select LED Puck Lights—an all-in-one solution for focused home or business lighting made to take the guesswork out of shopping. Now you can test different light options right in your own space and see which one really makes your objects shine.
In this blog, we'll show you the features and benefits of this new Flexfire product, plus easy installation guidelines and the most clever ways to use it.
What's a Puck Light—and Why This One's a Game-Changer
First things first. A puck light is a small, round LED light fixture about the size and shape of a hockey puck (hence the name). And while their small dimensions usually mean low power, that's not the whole story here.
Besides being a favorite for many Americans when lighting floating shelves or hallway niches, thanks to their spotlight-like beam that naturally draws everyone's attention, they're the perfect complement to high-quality LED strip lights, adding depth and layers to any space.
With this in mind, Victory™ goes beyond all this and is in a league of its own, truly living up to its name. These features make it the ultimate puck light:
CCT Selectable Convenience: Say Goodbye to Rough Guessing
CCT, or Correlated Color Temperature, refers to the shade of white in our lights. The lower the number in Kelvin (K), the warmer, cozier, and more yellow they'll feel; the higher the number, the cooler, bluer, and more energizing.

With most puck lights on the market, you only get two options:
- A fixed CCT (and you often don't really know what shade you'll get until it arrives).
- Multiple models with different CCTs, which forces you to gamble on which one might work best.
In both cases, you're stuck waiting until the lights are delivered and installed to discover whether they truly fit your space. That ends today with Victory™ Select LED Puck Lights.
Thanks to CCT-selectable technology, each puck light lets you test different shades of white light in real time—shining them on your shelves, wallpaper, furniture, or displays—before you lock in your choice during installation.
This makes shopping easier, reduces decision fatigue, and gives you the confidence to choose what actually makes your space pop. And if you change your mind? That's okay too—maybe the cool white you first loved doesn't flatter your porcelain collection after all, and warm white turns out to be the winner.
The secret is the integrated slider on the back of each puck light. With the back of the light facing you and the slider on top, you can easily choose:
- Left (Warm White, 3000K): Adds a cozy glow to your space. Its tone feels like old-style bulbs, making it perfect for highlighting family photos or any object tied to warm memories. Warm light also enhances the natural tones of wood, leather, and fabrics, making handbags, shoes, and closet displays look more luxurious.
- Center (Neutral White, 4000K): A balanced, natural look. This is the sweet spot for showing true colors, making it great for retail displays. It brings out details without the sharp edge of cooler light.
- Right (Cool White, 5000K): Crisp, modern, and stimulating. Works beautifully in minimalist interiors, medical settings, and office environments, where clarity is essential. Cool white makes jewelry sparkle, printed text easy to read, and tech gadgets look sleek.

CCT Selectable vs. Tunable White
It's important to note that Victory™ Select puck lights are CCT selectable, not tunable white. That means you pick your preferred light temperature before installation, and that's how it stays, unlike tunable white products that shift throughout the day to follow circadian rhythms.
But that's not a drawback: if you ever want to change the CCT later, today's setups are highly reversible. With a pro (or a confident DIY hand), you can swap them out and adjust to a new look whenever you like.
High CRI LED Lighting: Every Object Looking Its Best
At Flexfire, we know how much lighting shapes your daily life and the way you perceive the true colors of what surrounds you: your clothes, furniture, wallpaper, merchandise, and more. This matters even more with products like puck lights, which are practically made to highlight objects or focal points.
That's why the Victory™ Select line boasts an excellent Color Rendering Index (CRI) of around 95. This measurement indicates how accurately a light source reproduces colors compared to natural sunlight—the closer to 100, the more accurate it is.

With such a high CRI, our puck lights aren't just another set of lights. These are object-enhancing and perfect for spaces where details deserve center stage, such as collectors' homes, museums, art galleries, boutiques, designer kitchens, or custom closets.
Elegant, One-Size-Fits-All Accent Light
When it comes to illuminating objects, brightness is another key factor for any LED lighting product. This is especially true for puck lights, since the distance between the fixture and what sits below is usually short. That means the light needs to be strong enough to highlight the object but not so overpowering that it washes it out.
That's why our puck lights deliver 200 lumens per individual puck: the perfect balance for a soft yet effective accent lighting solution. This means they not only showcase objects beautifully but also add depth and a decorative touch to your space, drawing attention to shelves, niches, and displays while complementing your overhead lighting and other fixtures.

And when installed under cabinets or above work surfaces, they serve as a subtle task light, ideal for reading, cooking, or working in your home office.
Improved Compatibility: Use with a 24-Volt Power Supply & Accessories
Unlike typical 12V versions, our Victory™ Select Puck Lights run on 24V, making them fully compatible with today's standard for premium LED products.
This not only keeps your lighting consistent across every puck—even with longer wire runs—but also makes for a more efficient installation. By carrying current more effectively, they produce less heat in the wires, connectors, and the lights themselves. The result? Longer life and reliable performance for years to come.
Compliant, ETL-Listed Products
Our new puck lights are ETL-Listed and certified by Intertek.
If you're a DIY enthusiast, it gives you peace of mind to know your puck light installation is safe, the product is reliable, and your lights won't interfere with other devices in your home.
If you're a facility manager, building owner, or tenant representative, an ETL listing is even more valuable: it's widely recognized by inspectors, contractors, and building codes. That means your project checks all the right boxes, meets official requirements, and keeps you covered.

Round and Clean Diffused Lighting
Compared to our previous version, the new Victory™ Puck Lights feature a more diffused lens, softening the light from the LEDs. This makes them far gentler on the eyes in side-wall or similar installations, while also creating a smoother, more uniform beam between fixtures.
High-Quality White Light, Matte White Finish
On the outside, the Victory™ Select line trades the traditional black or gray finish of most puck lights for a refined matte white. This creates a sleek look that blends effortlessly with the clean white walls and finishes so common in new modern homes.

LED Installation Guidelines for Victory™ Select Puck Lights
Now that we've explored what makes these puck lights unique, let's look at how their build, components, and accessories open up different installation possibilities to meet your specific needs.
Surface-Mounted or Recessed Light Fixtures
Thanks to a removable screw-mounting ring, pre-drilled wire opening, and a compact 2.75-inch diameter, you get two flexible options with our Victory™ Select Puck Lights. Your choice depends on whether you keep or remove the mounting ring.

Leaving the ring on adds extra volume to the puck's cylindrical body, giving you a surface-mounted setup, where the fixture sits prominently on top of a panel, board, etc. All it takes is a Phillips screwdriver!
Removing the ring makes the fixture slimmer and easier to recess into wood, chipboard, vinyl, or similar materials for a built-in installation. The choice really comes down to the look you want in your space.
If you go with a surface-mounted installation, you're opting for a more DIY-friendly project that doesn't require cutting into cabinets or shelves. This is perfect for furniture and nooks where the fixtures won't be directly visible, or for rental properties where you don't want to make permanent modifications.

A recessed installation, on the other hand, means embedding your lights into or under cabinets, shelves, the tops of niches, and more. This approach is often preferred when you want a seamless, high-end finish, since it hides the "body" of the puck and lets only the glow—and the objects it highlights—be front and center.

Both installation styles provide the same reliable spot lighting, high-quality illumination, and all the benefits we have covered above. The only thing to keep in mind is that, whichever look you choose, you'll need the one essential accessory to connect your new LED puck lights: our Victory™ Select Splitter.
3-Way Splitter: The Key to Successful LED Puck Light Connections
If you're not too familiar with lighting, you might be wondering: What's a 3-way splitter, and what does it do?
No worries! It's the only dedicated Victory™ accessory you'll need. In simple terms, it's a small connector that lets you power multiple puck lights from a single power supply or controller. Think of it as the bridge that carries electricity to your pucks.
With our splitter, you can connect up to three puck lights at once, giving you three clean, evenly spaced spotlights in your space.
It's important to note that, unlike previous Flexfire models (or other systems you may have seen), these new puck lights are not daisy-chainable—each light connects directly to the splitter, not one after the other.
As for power, the splitter connects to a 24V desktop power supply with enough wattage for your puck light setup. That won't be an issue, since these compact fixtures are incredibly efficient at just 3W per light.

The power supply itself then plugs into a standard wall outlet. For even more convenience, we recommend pairing it with the Leona™ Smart Home Plug, so you can switch your puck lights on and off, monitor energy usage, and control them straight from your phone.
The layout of the Victory™ Select 3-Way Splitter is designed for flexibility. It comes with:
- 3 Mate-N-Lok ports for connecting your puck lights.
- 1 female coaxial connector to receive the male end of the power supply.
This setup makes installation adaptable and straightforward. In fact, it gives you two clear ways to get the job done, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro:
Plug-N-Play LED Installation
Straight out of the box, every Victory™ product is designed to be fully DIY-friendly. With a bit of motivation and some simple planning, you can confidently take the project into your own hands. That’s the Flexfire way.
From plugging the desktop power supply into a standard outlet to connecting the coaxial cables between the supply and the splitter—or the splitter to the puck lights—nothing requires complex tools. Just take your time to assemble and position each element carefully, and your setup will be ready to enjoy in no time.
Hardwired LED Installation
If you’re comfortable with electrical work, you also have the option to hardwire your system to a dimmable LED driver, allowing you to control your lights from a wall dimmer switch. This gives you added flexibility and the ability to power a few extra puck lights.
This process involves trimming the coaxial wire ends and making permanent connections. We generally don’t recommend this route unless accompanied by a licensed electrician. Cutting or modifying electrical components always requires extra caution!
Showcase What Matters Most with LED Puck Lights
As we’ve seen above, our new Victory™ LED products are designed to work beautifully whether surface-mounted or recessed. This makes them incredibly versatile!
Here are some of the most popular puck light applications you’ll find in homes and businesses, and that you can just as easily achieve in your own space:
Under-Cabinet Lighting
This is, without a doubt, the most popular application of puck lights in American homes, especially in kitchens. Their uses are many: drawing attention to a fruit station or specific containers, enhancing visibility for cooking, and adding depth and flair to the space through light and shadows.

But it’s not just about kitchen cabinets. In a commercial office or even your home office, placing puck lights under cabinets can help you focus by brightening your keyboard or monitor, while also highlighting desk accessories, your phone, or other essentials.
Pantry & Inside-Cabinet Lighting
At home, wide and often shadowed cabinet or closet shelves are the perfect spot to embed puck lights, just as you would in floating shelves or display cases. This simple addition makes it easier to find ingredients, spices, or pantry goods.

Wall Niche Lighting
Most architects designing beautiful, elegant homes often include niches in hallways and social areas—especially at the entrance or between rooms—to showcase extra-special pieces such as candles, tapestries, art, or stained-glass work. These niches are perfect for highlighting from above or the sides with puck lights.
The same applies to niches in hotel lobbies, temples, or other public and commercial spaces. Think floral arrangements, statues or religious figures, urns, or commemorative plaques. Lighting them with puck lights is a guaranteed way to draw the eye of visitors, clients, or guests.

Shelf & Bookshelf Lighting
Embedding Victory™ puck lights into shelves or wooden or chipboard bookcases is simple and stylish. Use them to showcase specific objects placed directly beneath each light—such as vases, picture frames, mineral specimens, or porcelain pieces.

You can also design a layered lighting scheme that adds oomph to your book collection, where the spotlight effect plays beautifully with the shadows and highlights across the spines of your books.
Wardrobe & Closet Light Fixtures
Brand-name hats, designer handbags, or collectible pieces like lapel pins or cufflinks can each be highlighted with a dedicated puck light, turning your closet into a display of your personality.
Side-mounted pucks also work beautifully at the top or bottom of your closet, casting light onto shoes stored on rails or beneath your hanging pants.

Retail Display Lighting & Light-Up Jewelry Shelves
A well-lit store is a successful store, especially if it uses light to guide its shoppers. LED lighting speaks volumes without words: it can draw attention to the season’s most coveted sneakers, highlight your reading club’s book of the month, or showcase themed displays that reinforce and promote your brands.
In a luxury boutique, dedicating one puck light to each necklace, pair of earrings, bracelet, or watch elevates the unique character of every piece. Beyond utility, lighting becomes an experience that communicates exclusivity and the promise of a brighter life that your customers can take with them.
