Suit any Mood
Lighting and emotion goes hand in hand. That’s why finding the perfect shade of light to fit your mood has become a highly sought-out feature. Take advantage of tunable LED lighting to adjust from a crisp, invigorating white light to help you cook, and then gradually switch over to a warmer white to help relax and unwind your day. Commercial spaces have been using this technology for years, such as hotels and restaurants mimicking the sun’s schedule, but people can achieve this in their homes as well.
Improve your Lifestyle
The type of light you surround yourself with not only dictates how you feel, but it influences your daily routine. Lighting color, purity, and CCT can affect your emotions, health and sleep patterns. High CCTs like the midday sun help us stay awake and focused. However, your circadian rhythm (internal clock) can be disrupted by the constant exposure of high CCT man-made lighting, such as the blue light from computer screens. Tunable white LED lighting helps realign your natural circadian rhythm. You can change the CCT from cool to warm, adjusting the tone based on your needs.

UltraBright™ Architectural Dynamic Tunable White LED strip light FAQ:
Q: Which Power Supply do I need for my (x) feet of LEDs?
The length of LED strip lights of your project will determine the size of the power supply you need. View our Power Supply chart to find the exact LED power supply you need.
Q: What is the product warranty?
Because of our unyielding confidence in the quality of our product, we offer a 15-year warranty on most of our LED strips to all of our clients. The warranty on power supplies ranges from 2 to 7 years, depending on the model.
Q: What is the lifespan of your strip lights?
Our lights have been rigorously tested and have an expected lifespan of 50,000 hours before dropping to 70% luminosity. This means that if you were to use your lights 12 hours a day, every day, the lights would be expected to last longer than 10 years. Even after that time has elapsed, the lights will maintain a brightness of 70%. Higher-output strips require a heat sink to reach the expected lifespan and beyond.
Q: What is color temperature? (CCT)
The color of light can be quantified by referring to its color temperature. White light is measured in Kelvins (K). Most white lights fall in a spectrum between 1800K and 6200K. When dropping below 3000K, the light becomes noticeably warmer. On the other end of the spectrum, the lights become cooler and emit a blue-ish tint as they rise above 6500K.
Q: What are lumens (lm)?
This is a quantifiable amount of light produced by an LED strip or other light-producing product. This is one way we can measure light output.
Q: What is the maximum run length of the UltraBright™ Architectural Dynamic Tunable White Series CRI90+ lights before voltage drop?
Maximum continuous string of lighting in series: 42ft 7in (13m). Longer connections are possible in parallel with the correct power unit.
Q: Is there an outdoor option?
Yes, we offer an IP65-rated version of the UltraBright™ Architectural Dynamic Tunable White Series CRI90+.
Q: What do I need to turn on my lights?
To turn on these LED strips, you will need to connect them to a low voltage power supply and a Dynamic Tunable White compatible controller. For Dynamic Tunable White LED strips we recommend using our solderless connectors. If you are skillful at the art of soldering you can do so for more permanent connections, but please test your expertise on a small segment of strip before committing to solder your entire project.
Q: How do I mount the lights?
The 3M double sided adhesive that is found on the back of the LED strip allows you to install them in most locations. Be sure to thoroughly clean the surface to remove all dust and particulate matter before mounting the strip. Certain surfaces may require you to take additional measures to secure the strips lights into place. Feel free to call us with any questions.
Q: Can I cut the strips myself?
Yes, LED strips are made to be cut to your desired length. Using sharp scissors, you can cut this strip every 4” inches. You’ll see the cut marks printed on the surface of the strip.
Q: What is a 3014 SMD LED chip?
A 3014 surface-mounted diode (SMD) represents the size of the LED chips on the strip. A 3014 SMD chip measures at 3.0mm x 1.4mm. Click here for more information on LED chip sizes.
Q: What is the importance of UL Listed?
The Underwriters Laboratories (UL) are an independent, not-for-profit organization that focuses on evaluating products for safety certification. This means you can use and install these LEDs in commercial spaces, industrial applications and in your home knowing that these are safe products.
