Q: How do I install RGB + Dynamic Tunable White LED strip lights ?
These LED strip lights need to use a RGB+DYN controller for them to work. Once you have selected the length of lights you want, you will have to select a power supply by calculating the wattage the length of strip will be using. When selecting a remote, make sure that you are not going beyond the wattage maximum for that particular controller. Our ColorBright™ RGB + Dynamic Tunable White LED Strip Lights have 6 wires that need to go into their appropriate places within the RGB+DYN controller. Pay attention to the indicator markings on the strip. Consult our design team for extra assistance.
Q: What is the maximum run length of RGB + Dynamic Tunable White strip lights?
The maximum run length for this strip varies according to the amount of channels being used simultaneously. If you have all five channels on, the run length will be 16’4 feet (5 meters), but if not all channels are being used at once, the run length will be 23 feet (7 meters). Please contact our design team for help with larger projects.

The fact that this LED strip combines all types of LED chips into one, allows it to pack more chips per foot, creating a uniform line of light that produces RGB colors plus high-quality white light in temperatures ranging from 2400K to 6500K. On top of everything, these strips feature an 90+ CRI rating for rich, accurate color rendering.
Q: What is the product warranty?

Q: What is correlated color temperature? (CCT)
The color of light can be quantified by referring to its color temperature. White light is measured in Kelvins (K). Most white lights fall in a spectrum between 1800K and 6200K. When dropping below 3000K, the light becomes noticeably warmer. On the other end of the spectrum, the lights become cooler and emit a blue-ish tint as they rise above 6500K.
Q: Which Power Supply do I need for my (x) feet of LEDs?

Q: What is CRI and why should I care?
Color rendering index (CRI) measures how colors are correctly rendered under a light source in comparison to natural sunlight. The index is measured on a 0-100 scale with 100 being a perfect rating of color accuracy, meaning the colors appear as they naturally would under unadulterated daylight. High CRI lighting is sought out everywhere, but is particularly valuable in. The bottom line: the higher the CRI, the higher quality is the light source.
95 - 100 → Phenomenal color rendering. Colors appear as they should, subtle tones pop out and are accented, skin tones look beautiful, art comes alive, backsplashes and paint shows it's true beautiful full saturation. You have to see it to believe it!
90 - 95 → Great color rendering! Almost all colors 'pop' and are easily distinguishable. Noticeably great lighting starts at a CRI of 90.
80 - 90 → Good color rendering, where most colors are rendered well. You may not see items as fully saturated as you would like, but most people will not notice.
60 - 75 → Poor color rendering. Items and colors may look desaturated, drab, and at times unidentifiable (cannot see the difference between black and navy colored socks).
Q: What are lumens (lm)?
This is a quantifiable amount of light produced by an LED strip or other light-producing product, as seen by the human eye. In other words, this is one way we can measure how much light is produced. When comparing LED strip lights, you want to compare the lumen output as well as the CRI, watts/foot, warranty, and bin selection.
Q: Can I cut the strips myself?
Yes, our LED strip lights are made to be cut to your desired length. Using sharp scissors, you can cut this strip every 4". You’ll see the cut marks printed on the surface of the strip.
Q: What is the importance of UL Listed?
The Underwriters Laboratories (UL) are an independent, not-for-profit organization that focuses on evaluating products for safety certification. This means you can use and install these LEDs in commercial spaces, industrial applications and in your home knowing that these are safe products.
